MOBICON Art Show, you agree to allow MOBICON, Inc. and its agents to
collect and remit all applicable sales taxes.
- Originals may be displayed Not For Sale
(NFS).
- Resale of art through the MOBICON Art
Show is prohibited. All work must
be the property of the exhibiting artist.
Agents must provide proof of permission to sell work on behalf of
the artist(s) they represent.
- MOBICON reserves the right to refuse
exhibition of any work for any reason.
Works that are judged to be libelous will not be permitted in the
show. Adult oriented materials
depicting graphic violence or sexual situations will be placed in the
mature section of our show. MOBICON
and the Art Show staff reserve the right to determine if an art piece is
“mature art” or not. Should you disagree with the Director you may appeal to the
President. If you disagree with the
President, you may appeal to the Governing Committee. The item in question must remain in the
mature section during the appeal process. No artwork from commercial patterns,
kits or molds is permitted. If you have any questions, please feel free to
contact the MOBICON Art Show staff.
- All two-dimensional artwork must be
matted, plastic-wrapped, mounted, and/or framed. When hanging, please
allow enough room for bid sheets.
Work will be hung from pegs.
If suitable mounting devices are not included, art will be hung
using bulldog clips. MOBICON assumes
no responsibility to art damaged by clips if suitable mounting is not
provided by the artist/agent. Work
that is not suitably mounted and protected will not be hung in the show.

the art show staff to complete sales.
Any such work received without these precautions will not be

control sheet. Please type or print
legibly on all art show paperwork.
- Once entered in the show, no piece may
be withdrawn before 12:00 p.m. Sunday, nor may the conditions of sale
(Minimum Bid amount, NFS status, Quick Sale amount, etc.) be changed
without the written approval of the Art Show Director.
- Artist Registration forms and payment
must be received by March 1st.
Please allow seven business days for checks to clear. All funds must be in U. S. Dollars. Spaces are reserved on a
first-come-first served basis. Once
all space is assigned, artists will be placed on a waiting list for space.
- Mail-in art must be received by May 1st. If work is not received by this date,
the reserved space will be offered to artists on the waiting list in order
of registrations received. Refunds
will be provided only in extenuating circumstances (family emergency,
natural disaster, etc.). Artists
who consistently fail to send their work by this deadline may be refused
entry into future shows.
- Walk-in art will be accepted Friday,
beginning at 9:00 am. A receipt will be issued for all walk-in art
accepted. Artwork may not be reclaimed without this receipt and photo
identification. If you cannot reclaim your art, please make prior
arrangements with the Art Show Director.
- Photography will not be allowed within
the art show without the written permission of the Art Show Director. Please do not give anyone permission to
take photos of your pieces in the art show. Press photographers may be
allowed to take wide-angle shots of the room, or photograph a particular
artist's panels but only with permission from the Art Show Director and
the artist.
- Minimum Bid is the least amount you will
accept for the sale of your art. The Quick Sale price (if you elect to
have one) should be a higher price that will enable the piece to be sold
without going to auction.
- All pieces that receive 2 or more bids
will go to Auction.
- All pieces not sold in the Auction will
be made available for Minimum Bid price after the Auction. If you do not wish to offer your work
for this sale, please be sure to make the appropriate selection on your
registration form. If there is no
indication of your preference on the registration form, your work will be
made available for Minimum Bid sale after Auction.

limited to amateur artists. The Art
Show staff reserves the right to determine the professional or amateur
status of an artist. Professional
artists may purchase space in the Merchant Room.

in Artist’s Alley.
