Nightmare Theatre
Nightmare Theatre is an old school horror host show, featuring minor demon The Baron Mondo Von Doren (Mike Ensley), faithful luchadore manservant El Sapo De Tempesto (Chip Chism) and pet werewolf Mittens (Lemmie Crews). The Nightmare Theatre crew hosts very BAD horror flicks and gives them all the respect they deserve – none!
Guests on the show have included everyone from major horror celebs such as Alice Cooper, Elvira, & Tom Savini to B-Movie legends like Tura Satana, Fred Olen Ray and Bill Moseley.
Based in Pensacola, FL and also airs in seven other states via the Horror Host Underground Network. In October 2005, Nightmare Theatre was selected to host two films nationally on the SpikeTV network for their Ghouls Gone Wild Weekend promotion. In 2006, the show became available worldwide, via Broadband Horror Network ScreamTV.net, with new episodes to premiere later this year.
Nightmare Theatre also hosts many popular live events at The Silver Screen Theatre in Pensacola, FL. These include the Cult Film Festival each Jan. & Feb., Mondo Movie Month in May and Shocktoberfest! in October. The trio have also hosted many indie horror flicks in exclusive theatrical showings.
Nightmare Theatre has also done many convention appearances, panels and performances, including being the resident horror guests at Mobicon in Mobile, AL, Cinema Wasteland in Cleveland, BabelCon in Baton, Rouge, Exoticon in New Orleans and DragonCon in Atlanta.
