Maple Brown Sugar Egg White Oatmeal – FRESH. OUT.

Steel cut oats and walnuts make it satisfyingly hearty, and egg whites create a fluffy, custardy texture while adding protein that will keep you full all morning long.   1. Add water to a small pot and bring to a boil.
  2. While water is boiling, measure oats and set aside. To a separate measuring cup, add almond milk, egg whites, Lakanto syrup, salt, and cinnamon (if using). Whisk with a fork to combine and set aside.
  3. Once water is boiling, add oats, and stir immediately. Reduce heat to medium-low and stir as needed until most of the liquid has been absorbed by the oats, 2-3 minutes.
  4. Slowly add the egg mixture while whisking constantly to prevent clumps. Continue whisking slowly until fully cooked, another 2-3 minutes.
  5. Transfer to a bowl immediately, top with Lakanto Brown Sweetener and walnuts and let rest for one minute, then serve.
  • Cut down on time in the morning. Prep the egg mixture the night before and refrigerate in an airtight container.
